Our Care and Support
We provide nursing and residential care that is shaped around each individual and supported by the people who matter to them. Care plans are created with the person and, where they wish, their family or representatives.
Support at Elm Lodge includes:

A Person‑Centred, Family Approach
We take time to really get to know each person — their life story, routines, interests, and what’s important to them. Families and loved ones often know people best, and we value their knowledge, involvement, and support.
People are encouraged to make choices about their day‑to‑day life, from what time they get up to how they spend their time. We support people to live life in a way that feels right for them.
Life at Elm Lodge
Life at Elm Lodge is about connection, belonging, and enjoying everyday moments together. We support people to take part in activities they enjoy and to stay connected with the local community.
Activities include:
- Social get‑togethers and celebrations
- Arts, crafts, and creative activities
- Gentle exercise and wellbeing sessions
- Trips out in the local area and community visits
- One‑to‑one time doing things people enjoy
Families and friends are encouraged to join in activities, celebrations, and special occasions.
